The NRA, Texas DPS, American Red Cross and National Institute of Crime Prevention are the credible organizations from which DettSec gives instruction. Our class topics range from Firearms, First Aid, Ethical considerations, hard target lifestyle and much more.

Education is never-ending, and we incorporate it into our classes. You won't just learn about firearms and emergency aid. You will learn about Texas law, out of sate law, Penal Codes, proper procedures, best practices and advice from personal experience.

DettSec offers beginner, intermediate and advanced classes. Be sure that you check to see if there are any prerequisite classes, such as advanced NRA courses, or age restrictions, such as American Red Cross Classes.

Payment may be made in the Class Selection And Payment section on the home page this website. Find your desired class on our training schedule, follow the registration instructions for that class, select your desired class date and pay at the checkout page.

During any training with a firearm that requires practical application or range time you will need a firearm, eye protection, ear protection, and pay range fees. If you do not have a firearm you may rent one. DettSec ear and eye protection is provided for all ranges.

In order to receive full credit and certification you must attend the full instruction for any given class. Several classes are student lead, and their total start to end time may vary, but will not exceed the allotted maximum time.
